Inundation of Blessing: James & Leslie

Rain is good luck on a wedding day.  James and Leslie’s Quincy, MI wedding was FULL of lucky charm thanks to the downpour the night before.  Early March is an unpredictable time of year in Michigan, and March 5th of 2011 proved no different.  I had thought about bringing galoshes for traipsing around to find the most photogenic locations but had decided instead that, with the right angle, I could make a parking lot look romantic (and keep off the grass!).  Thankfully, God was one step ahead of me (as He always is) bringing much better ideas than my own! Instead of a muddy spring afternoon, He sent glorious, fluffy, pouring snow falling down to inundate the newly minted husband, wife, and loving friends and family who surrounded the new family that day.  The ground had frozen a few hours before in one more attempt for God to display his approval and blessing over this marriage.  Leslie and James’ wedding displayed the beauty and excitement of a new family beginning their lives together in love, in support and in blessing.  We are so honored to have been part.
