The Celebration: San Antonio Style

November 19, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

What a dream.  The late October weekend found us in San Antonio, Texas at one of those “be still my beating heart” weddings  (have we mentioned how much we love traveling for photography?).  The wedding details were positively exquisite down to the last white chocolate rose favor.  The breathtaking gown, the sunset ceremony, the centerpieces (!), the rustic-elegant Texas ranch feel, and those hot red shoes (Stefanie, you’ve made them famous)– well, let it just be stated:  Stefanie and Russell celebrate with beautiful taste!  What’s even more lovely, though, is that the event was not just about the details, rather it was a celebration of real love and relationships.  The bridal party could not have had more fun together (obvious lifelong friends), and the bride and groom’s eyes just beamed at the altar.  At my (Diana here) first glimpse of Russell late in the day (while surrounded by lifelong buddies) his only question was about his bride.  “How is she?  How are her spirits? Is she doing well?” Theirs is the kind of caring love that is worth commemorating with a party –and shoes– like those.

Enjoy the movie below–be patient while it loads, then expand it full-screen, sit back, and enjoy.  It will be worth it.
