Indianapolis at Night

One of the parts of wedding photography I enjoy the most is getting to explore new cities–in March I got to know both Chicago and Indianapolis–plus some fantastic habitants along the way.  Jennifer (of Luna Dulce Photography… my partner in crime for the event),  and I spent the wedding eve wandering around downtown Indianapolis at night… complete with cruisers, carriage rides, and a few dramatic lenses to warm up for the wedding.

Long exposures are fun to experiment with when there’s this much light to play with.

Even the alleys were a little more glamorous.  I had Jenny stand in the murky blue light in the name of photography.  We played brave, all the while wishing somewhere deep down that our husbands were there for such risky photo jaunts in alleyways!

Some sort of maiden really ought to be letting down her hair from that balcony at the top…

Look up! Look down! Lights all around!

We vow to always be this professional at a gig.  Cross our hearts.
